Hola ‘Winans Columbus’

Toss. Toss. Toss. Juggle. Juggle. Juggle. So is the life of a working mom - but just for fun – let’s officially throw in another ball to make it interesting. No no. Better yet, let’s switch the object of juggling from balls to flames.

I can, with 95% confidence, report that Winans Columbus will be opening its doors this coming Saturday, July 9tth 2011. (insert eeks of excitement!)

And since we’re located in the German Village area of Columbus, of course we were on hand to pass out samples of our chocolates at the annual German Village Haus & Garten Tour last weekend. And by ‘we’ I mean my husband and the Reisers. I can’t take much credit as I was mainly responsible for chasing a crazy toddler around Schiller Park.

But it was fun to see all the interest in our shop. People got to taste our double dark chocolate meltaways and salty carmels, and some people actually came by to purchase a cup of coffee (which we weren’t serving). So it was hard to turn business away!
